Dear TeamToddTBI,
This week, I completed seven virtual flights: “https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sog-dEQEqzQdREGWXST6nXXErTYQibVg/view?usp=sharing” The last flight, from Saturday, was a short hop from KOKZ to KMLJ that I completed with a Pi 5 that did not include an easy way to modify gatttool. The stock, deprecated, gatttool was still present and I used the stock gatttool through the c programming process popen. And my program to control FlightGear’s throttle worked.
Also, I populated the start menu so the command names did not need to be typed in the console from memory. I hope to give this Pi 5 to someone else to try – it has no personal details. The Pi 5 also has commands to gather and store data such as their bike’s speed sensor MAC address, and their bike tire size. I want to clarify the parameters that translate rear tire speed into a throttle position. I wish had an actual end user to interact with to improve my eventual posting on github.
This week, I enjoyed reading a lengthy email from Jim Hamm , Ridge Tool PE.
This week, I submitted a form to UNUM. UNUM requested many details of life from 25 years ago. UNUM also sent requests to my medical doctors including my urologist: I should have studied more for my PSA test! :)
My good behavior in church today yielded buttermilk waffles and bacon.
St. Luigi, Thank you for your intercession. St. Carlo Acutis, pray for us.
Hello, TEAMTODD, Thanks for staying with Us.
Todd continues to recover. Todd is amazing as he continues to "push" himself. AND, Todd does so with a merry and grateful heart. As he reminds himself and us, "This game plan is not Todd's idea BUT he is playing out God's plan."
Thank you to Jim Hamm for the email. Todd would APPRECIATE hearing from his other coworkers from the past. Todd so misses chatting "engineer talk". If you have a minute, write an email to Todd.
We are grateful to you, TEAMTODD, and we appreciate you continuing support of Todd.
