Dear TeamToddTBI,

Happy New Year.

As usual, I completed virtual fligts: “https://drive.google.com/file/d/168ku0BlEAM8FuhI-RZ4Z5ahnTpmxnp-5/view?usp=sharing” Honestly, I am addicted to the physical and mental challenge.

My favorite sister departed on Saturday for her home in Rockingham. Libby and I enjoyed Chinese food at Bob's Shanghai 66 for our periodic ethnic meal. I ate some spicy fried squid.

I attempted to prepare steak and lobster on New Year day. Preparing two entrees simultaneously over whelmed my cooking abilities. I am more adept at one dish – certainly not a vegetible [sic.]. I used my new cast iron skillet to sear the steaks.

Friday evening we went the Palmer’s, three doors south of our home, for happy hour.

I am still trying to complete a form for UNUM with details of my disability, including numerous requests for information that is more than 15 years old.

Hello TEAMTODD! It has been a busy week. Reading what Todd wrote, I think you got the “condensed” version. 

YES! It was wonderful to have Libby with us for almost 2 weeks! It seems every day was a celebration. We are so fortunate to enjoy each others’ company. Libby is a huge help. She looks around and sees how she can help.

Todd completed the UNUM form, due sometime in February… He was “hell bent” on getting it done ASAP. Libby looked at it, made some suggestions, Ted looked at it, I looked at it and made some suggestions. Todd is NEVER late for a deadline! WHEW!!!!

Todd and I, with Libby, met Barbara W. for our usual once monthly Altar Guild duties. I think I told you, Todd enjoys this monthly volunteer activity because it is done in a “quiet” atmosphere, and the directions are “precise”.

Todd amazes us with his good memory of the past. Interesting… I see improvement in Todd’s concentration, cognitive abilities these days. We are grateful. I think Todd has never give up and continues to challenge himself. That is the Todd we all know, love and respect.

Thank you ALL for staying with us. It is your prayers, good works and well wishes that not only have sustained Todd and us BUT all that goodness has propelled Todd into this latest level of recovery.
